The NCS Experience Continues
A High School Built for NCS Students and the Futures They Deserve
At Neighborhood Charter Schools, high school is where students discover who they are, build the confidence to lead, and prepare for college, career, and life beyond graduation.
Our high school will offer rigorous academics, personalized pathways, strong advisory support, and a school community designed for every learner from day one.
For years, NCS families have trusted our schools to provide a welcoming, structured, and inclusive education where students are known, challenged, and supported.
Now, that experience continues through high school.
Opening in Fall 2027, NCS High School will build on the strong foundation of our K–8 program with a 9–12 model designed to help students grow academically, socially, and personally. Students will be supported through small advisories, rigorous coursework, inclusive classrooms, career-connected learning, and a school culture grounded in our LIGHT values: Leadership, Inquiry, Growth, Heart, and Teamwork.
At NCS High School, students will have the opportunity to shape what comes next for themselves, their school community, and their future.

High School Is a Launchpad. We Build the Runway.
NCS High School is designed to help every student graduate with a clear sense of who they are, what they care about, and where they are headed.
A Path That’s Truly Theirs
Students will explore academic, college, and career pathways that reflect their strengths and goals. From AP courses and capstone projects to career certifications and enrichment opportunities, students will have room to challenge themselves, discover new interests, and prepare for life after high school.
Inclusion by Design
NCS believes students learn best in communities where every child is valued. Our high school model will support autistic students, multilingual learners, students with IEPs, and general education students learning together in a caring and structured environment.
Rooted in Harlem and the Bronx
NCS High School is being built for families who know and trust NCS, while also welcoming new families looking for a high-quality, inclusive public high school option.
Support That Stays With Them
Every student will be part of a Neighborhood Group, a small advisory community that helps them build relationships, set goals, track progress, and stay connected throughout all four years of high school.
The Student Experience
Discover Who You Are. Build What Comes Next.
At NCS High School, students will be encouraged to think deeply, lead with purpose, and take ownership of their future.
01 Find Your People
Students will be known by teachers, advisors, and peers who care about their success. Through Neighborhood Groups, students will build strong relationships, practice self-advocacy, and receive guidance throughout their high school journey.
02 Shape Your Pathway
Every student’s path will reflect their strengths, goals, and interests. Students may pursue advanced academics, career-connected learning, creative interests, leadership opportunities, and post-secondary goals with support from staff who know them well.
03 Grow Through Challenge
NCS students will engage in rigorous coursework that builds critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and independence. AP courses, capstone portfolios, and meaningful projects will help students demonstrate what they know and what they can do.
04 Launch With Confidence
Graduates will leave NCS High School prepared for college, career, and life. They will understand their strengths, know how to advocate for themselves, and be ready to take their next step with confidence.
