Ramya Pokala, 7th Grade English teacher, is originally from Temple, Texas. She made the move to New York City to study at NYU where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature (minoring in Biology and Chemistry) and her Master’s in English Education. Ramya is excited to start teaching middle school after having taught high school subjects ranging from ELA for 12th grade to AP Environmental Science. As such, Ramya s passionate about both science and literature, and she is looking forward to learning from the unique perspective of her middle school students.
