Fatuma Hydara, 8th Grade ELA teacher, is a native New Yorker, born and raised in the Bronx. She earned a Bachelor’s in English and Adolescent Education from Pace University- Pleasantville and earned a Master’s in English Education from City College of New York. She has taught 10th grade English for the past five years. In year 6, she is looking forward to the new challenge of teaching middle school. As a child of West African immigrants, Fatuma has always valued education and books as a way of experiencing the world and achieving her dreams. She aims to change lives one students and one book at a time at Neighborhood Charter School.
