Davine Williams

7th Grade ELA

Davine Williams, 7th Grade English Teacher, is originally from St. Thomas Parish, Jamaica and has lived in Harlem since the age of 10. She graduated from CUNY-Hunter with a major in English and a minor in Psychology. Davine has been an educator since 2005 as a part of the NYC Teaching Fellows 10th Cohort, earning her M.S. Ed specializing in English Education from CUNY Lehman. She has taught English not only in New York City, but also spent four years teaching in schools abroad in England. Davine is looking forward to building relationships with the scholars and their families as well as members of the NCSH community. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, and try out unique styles of food and music.
