Brittany Scott joins NCSH this year as an 8th grade ELA teacher. Previously, Brittany taught lower elementary at Achievement First Bushwick in Brooklyn, NY. As a Bronx native, Brittany fondly recalls working for Harlem Children’s Zone as a teenager. She is excited to return to Harlem as an educator. Brittany attended Daemen College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work in 2014 and Masters in the Art of Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education in 2017.
Brittany is passionate about preparing students academically as well as well supporting them in thriving in the real world. She loves reading and writing, and knows the power and beauty of language. She is excited to share that passion with her students this year.
