Middle School Math Teacher
Amanda Iacono, 5th and 6th grade mathematics teacher, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Level Mathematics Education from the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching, Middle Level Education, at Relay Graduate School of Education. Born and raised in Stroudsburg, PA, Amanda recently moved to NY to begin her teaching career at Neighborhood Charter School of Harlem. She has experience working with children inside and outside of a school setting, and has been a non-profit mathematics tutor for several years working with students of many ages. Amanda is incredibly excited to take her passion to the next level. She is thoroughly looking forward to kicking off her dream job with 5th and 6th grade scholars, developing relationships within the community, and teaching in a way such that her students develop a love for mathematics, a love for learning, and a love for themselves.
