Sherita Smith joined Neighborhood Charter School of Harlem in August 2012 prior to the school’s opening. Upon graduating from Seton Hall University with a bachelor’s in Marketing, Ms. Smith worked for UBS Financial Services as Project Manager. Ms. Smith focused on changing policies and procedures to make it easier to do business at UBS. After a four-year stint in the private sector, Ms. Smith decided that her analytical, service-oriented background made her suitable for charter school administration. Prior to joining NCSH, Ms. Smith worked as an Operations leader for a charter management organization in New York City.
